They have psychoactive properties and most of them are considered as sacred among indigenous tribes. For many, these are plants of the Gods or sacred plants teacher.

These plants, like entheogens, and spiritual and energy practices, not only can grant us freer access to what may be hidden within us but also they may be a doorway themselves to other realms, dimensions, nonphysical modes of being, and connections to the vast network of Life. What we do with that access is up to us, as they teach us through the lens of our own beliefs.
